The current leadership section contains no relevant data about the organization US English, and seems to laboriously assert that the current leader is not a bigoted white male. This is not a PR page and it shouldn't be written like one.

The link to the SPLC gives the entire text of the memo and no commentary on it, while the link to Crawford's book excerpt (which incidentally I never removed) provides only a short quote from it and plenty of partisan commentary from the author. It is entirely appropriate to provide readers the chance to read the entire memo. If you have a different page with the entire text of the memo on it, then of course you can replace the SPLC link with that. Angr (talk • contribs) 13:06, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
The topic of English as a national language tends to be polarizing along conservative/liberal, anti immigration/pro minorty, exclusive/inclusive, "accountability-freedom"/ "entitlement-politically correct” etc lines.
As a long time admirer of S I Hayakawa and his clear thinking about complex issues I would be grateful for any quotes or references to his comments regarding his reasons for advocating English as the “official” national language. Jlmackel (talk) 17:11, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
