Added more variants info. Main specs section replaced with T-69-II. The original T-69 didn't enter service and there's no point in listing it. Majority of T-69's exported were T-69-II variant, since T-69-III/T-79 were reserved for PLA use only.
Smoothbore edit
This needs a little clarification. Did the Type 69 and Type 69-I prototypes both have a smoothbore copied from the T-62? Was the idea abandoned when the tank went into production? —Michael Z. 2006-08-14 13:35 Z
Albania edit
Albania never had the Type 69 in service, only the early Type 59. All tanks have been withdrawn from service. dendirrek (talk) 16:58, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
28 September image edit
The original website misidentified the tank as a T-55. My apologies.--Darius (talk) 16:34, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
- No sweat. It's easy to mix these things up. Almost any time I identify a new photo, I have to double-check by comparing it to known photos. I've noticed that US military photos of any Soviet-legacy tank, and even some actual tanks in museums, tend to be labelled “T-55”. Regards. —Michael Z. 2008-09-29 16:42 z

Operators- added the flags edit
This is just an edit note. I have added the flags for the Operators section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.147.198.255 (talk) 18:23, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
