About "Mark II" edit

There is no Mark ll variant of this tank.300 more Durjoy tank is nothing but a online Rumor. All information about "Mark ll" tank should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nafis Fuad Ayon (talkcontribs) 09:33, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Actually all the details given about the tnak on this page is similar to Mk2 upgrade package. So the tnaks have been Uprgred. So its not worng to call this mk2 maybe u should do a little bit more research.Cuz the armaments and other Upragaded Features have been updated on this page except the name so i just updated the name Mehedi099 (talk) 13:03, 1 January 2021 (UTC) Mehedi099 (talk) 13:08, 1 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

We don't have any rights to changed the official name. Bangladesh army never used the term "MK2". Please don't believes in lier bdmilitary(present name defseca) online portal or any facebook post. Wikipedia uses information from mainstream reliable sources not self published news portal or social media post. Information related to 300 more Type-59 is also a false information. Adding theoretical information without any reference is unacceptable.@Mehedi099:Nafis Fuad Ayon (talk) 13:44, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I used mark 2 because many many features of the tank have been changed and upgraded from the previous durjoy tank.So automatically this is a newer version of of tank.So i don't see why we can not use the term mark 2.Beacuse automatically when something is made better from its original/previous version it is allowed to use Mark2/3/4 to address te item.So I don't see using Mark 2 as a big issue. Engine 850 horsepower or 720 horsepower? edit

The article is providing contradictory information. Which one is correct? Nafis Fuad Ayon (talk) 07:53, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

How do I change it's name? edit

Type 59 Durjoy is the wrong name. It should be T-59G Durjoy. It's written that way in official documents. You can clearly see(Template of the video) T-59G Durjoy is written on the side of the tank. Although it’s written in Bengali. Miraz2005 (talk) 18:56, 14 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
