Please have a more indepth character overview edit

The over views on the characters are too informal. Could there possibly be a Ty character page?

Please edit all of the "you"s! edit

There are way too many "you"s in here to be considered formal tone. I revised about 10, then I saw how many more there were and got discouraged. Someone please take the time to try and fix it. Sorry, that's just one of my pet peeves. HusikaSN 22:53, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Genre edit

Would this game also qualify as an Action-adventure game along with Platformer? Alex 20:47, 3 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, I think that the later TY games (Bush Rescue and NotQ) would fit into that genre, but not TY1. ToyoWolf 09:29, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can't put image... edit

This is what I'm trying to do:

Character profiles edit

Anyone know where these age estimates came from? I can't find any instance of them being mentioned anywhere else. --80.4.201.125 08:32, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.PNG edit

Image:Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sly? edit

Is he a protagonist or antagonist sounds like an antagonist to me? --72.87.62.155 (talk) 21:13, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

GA? edit

All right. I am thinking about getting this article up to GA, since this year is the 10th anniversary of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. Please see my sandbox for what the article will look like. Here are a few issues we need to tackle:

  • Lead section - needs expansion, as it lacks the key gameplay, development and reception elements.
  • Development section - needs to be expanded upon, as it does not have one yet.
  • Reception section - also needs to be expanded, including negative comments.
  • Gameplay section - looks good as well.

All are welcome to assist in this process. Any comments, ideas, suggestions or objections are welcome. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:23, 3 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Plot section edit

I have expanded the plot section as well by including details and character descriptions, using Crash Bandicoot (video game)#Plot as a model. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 20:41, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Game Title edit

Is this game called "TY the Tasmanian Tiger", or "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger"? The article title says the former, but every instance within the article is the latter. The letters on the game cover are the same size, but the y is definitely the shape more associated with lower case. It's fine if it's a stylistic matter, but wouldn't that mean the article title should be "Ty", and the introductory paragraph would say something like "Ty the Tasmanian Tiger (stylized as TY the Tasmanian Tiger)"? The article for Ty 2 is the same way, but then the article for Ty 3 is just "Ty" even though the logo is stylized the same way on all three covers. In fact, Ty 1 and 2 have redirects from Ty to TY, but there's no TY 3 page at all. Can someone with more familiarity with the series and/or a better understanding of Wikipedia standards clear this up? Shardwing (talk) 14:57, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

fictional island edit

Am I missing something or has somebody described Tasmania as fictional accidentally? As somebody who lives in Tasmania I'm 90-95% sure it's real. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:12FA:2D01:F812:A36B:832:66E0 (talk) 13:46, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
