This is not what encyclopedia articles look like. This is subjective tripe written by a label promotion-man.

Hi there. It looked that way because that's what it was, a copy of the official Saddle Creek press release. I've done an overhaul, feel free to dig in. T K E 04:20, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is the inclusion of the sentence that mentions that includes an e-mail address for the Houston Free Press to collect information appropriate?

That entire section needs to be marked POV and re-written. The author was obviously biased against the police officer. Until the case is adjudicated, sources need to be cited. The entire thing is unsourced. Eye witness accounts exist, along with photos and video, which should be included to improve the overall qualit of the section on the dispute. Regardless, wikipedia is not a soapbox for railing against the Houston PD.216.7.72.130 13:22, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I had edited this page to make it less biased and add references, although I minimized my interference so as to not alter the original author's intent. Certainly more changes were needed, but I believe mine were positive. My changes were apparently rejected.

" Two Gallants feature a duo of guitar and drums, and their music is rooted in the blues. However, Two Gallants are more influenced by the delta blues and folk music rather than the White Stripes' electric blues, which is based on the music coming out of Chicago and Detroit. " I was wondering if there was any source for this particular quote, especially since the White Stripes have covered Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, and Son House, who are all most certainly not electric blues. Thanks.

I made the edit long ago, and it should probably be revised. The point was in the musical roots of acoustic, melodic play rather than the progressive, electric play that differentiate the two blues sounds and how they are represented in popular music today. So no source, feel free to re-write. Keegantalk 05:18, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
