Plagiarism

edit

A lot of the information on this page - and the description for TaeTiSeo is copied directly from AllKPop's articles. Can someone make this less... er... plagiarized, please?

Distribute Label

edit

Distribute Label in US and Worldwide is not iTunes, is SM Entertainment. You can find it on the US iTunes Pages (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/twinkle/id523113063). ℗ 2012 SM Entertainment <--This is it. So I change it.

Something should be added about Baby Steps being an original song by Varsity Fanclub. Just unknown (talk) 10:00, 28 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with Twinkle (Girls' Generation-TTS song)

edit

Information about the song is on the EP article, and all that's left is teaser info and a MV synopsis. I think a merged article makes sense because there isn't enough info about the song for two articles. Random86 (talk) 21:00, 14 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

    • Disagree : The article on the song has more information about the song than the info on the article of the EP. Maybe you can help to find more information put on the article on the song? --Deoma12(Talk) 15:41, 18 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
      • Comment: I just took out some unnecessary stuff from the song article, and the only thing that is not already in the album article is the MV synopsis. I don't think there is any reason why these articles shouldn't be merged. The info about the song's genre and influences is taken from an article / press release discussing the album. WP:NSONG states, "Coverage of a song in the context of an album review does not establish notability. If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created." It also states, "Notability aside, a standalone article is only appropriate when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album."
I know K-pop editors are used to songs having separate articles, but most of the time this is unnecessary and against Wikipedia guidelines. WP:SONG even says "Most songs do not merit an article". --Random86 (talk) 21:39, 18 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
    • Agree - agreed with Random86. There's nothing here that shows notability of the song itself. If there were more critical analysis, music reviews, or exposure from 3rd parties, I could see it staying - this song has none of that. Evaders99 (talk) 08:09, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
    • Merge Per WP:NSONGS. (talk) 07:29, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
