Why does this page list the twin clutch as being in the 2007 Mitsubishi Evolution X? There was no 2007 in North America. I beleive there was no 2007 Evolution X in general. What citation is their for this information? Komobu (talk) 17:28, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

The article is a blatant copy and paste of the first two official Mitsubishi press release citations. I did try and re-write the article - but to be honest, the subject matter in this specific article is NOT notable, because it does not have any 'unique selling point' over and above what is in the more general dual clutch transmission article - and being as Mitsubishi are simply purchasing an 'off the shelf' standard Getrag dual clutch transmission - I can't actually see any potential for making the content of this article different to what is in the dual clutch transmission article - hence the article needs deleting on two grounds:

1. copyright violation,
2. fails notability,

'06 Eclipse 4 Cylinder: Earlier version, different semi-auto, or after-market?

I have an '06 Eclipse that uses a semi-auto transmission. From what I can find online, it is a specific version of the GS (no turbo), but this version has a Sportronic semi-auto. I generally go to Wikipedia to find information about these kinds of things or at least use it to find resources and links, but the page says they were incorporated into Lancers in '08. Can anyone point me in a direction that would tell me more? I'm curious is maybe this is a different style of semi-auto and not the Sportronic, if it was maybe an earlier version of the Sportronic under a different name, or if it's an aftermarket add-on. What info I have found on it is very little. If what I have is a Sportronic, and it rolled off the line with this transmission, then some of the information on this page may need to be examined.   Addendum: I looked on the Mitsubishi website, and my own '06 Eclipse did come from the assembly line with a Sportronic transmission (4-speed, by  the way). I think that more research, preferably by someone who knows more about cars and especially about Mitsubishis than myself, may be needed for this page. The page states that the SST "was first incorporated in the 2008 Lancer Evolution X," so mine is either a different version of what they call a "Sportronic" transmission, or the information is wrong and more information is needed to update this article.
