"Mystery missile" over Los Angeles really just an extremely missile-like airplane?

It seems to me a bit presumptuous to state this as fact, when even the expert cited in the source admits that it could have been a missile. If it was a missile, this constituted a significant historical event which should definitely have its own Wiki page. The truth may never be known to the public, but as long as there is doubt I would recommend retaining this doubt as part of the story rather than jump to conclusions based on (even expert) speculation. I'm sure there are plenty of experts who would disagree with this particular source.

How would this be a significant historical event? If the Navy had a missle launch test and are keeping mum about it (and as a former officer on the U.S.S. Tennessee I can tell you we didn't advertise weapons tests) why would it be of historical importance? And it was NOT a ballistic missle launch from a Chinese or Russian submarine - such a launch so close to the American coastline would have terrifying implications in a military response that might quickly get out of hand. Neither country wants a nuclear war with anyone, let alone the U.S.!HammerFilmFan (talk) 04:35, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Have two images I think would be good additions to this article

Hello- I have two photos (and a video) that I took myself of a SpaceX satellite launch that depict the twilight phenomenon. I would like to add them to this article but don't seem to be able to (I have never made a Wikipedia edit). Can you advise? Banquojr (talk) 19:08, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
