It was the first club run by women, for women, in the United States. Also, I understand the Twentieth Century Club building is to be added to the National Register of Historic Places within weeks. As reviewing administrator, I did not delete it. 19th and early 20th c. social clubs often have a claim to importance. What this article needs is 3rd party independent published references to show it. If it's going to be added to the NR, other refs are likely to exist.
