"The monument is located on land given by the county government to the United Daughters of the Confederacy as a "park for white people"." is false and uncited. The land is owned by the UDC but there was never a whites only part of the story

As for Segrest, it appears that the acquittal centered around a claim of self-defense, and that there was no question of who killed Younge. However, it would be best to source to scholarly accounts, rather than to news articles, and the acquittal should be mentioned. Acroterion(talk) 09:27, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
