7000? / Should we mention Fatsa? edit

Hello, I found this newspaper website here; [1]

I remember hearing about the majority of Turkish people in Japan being originally from Fatsa, so I put these keywords in Google, and that's what I got.

So about the 7000 thing, I know that official number is more reliable, but maybe the diffrence due to the illegal immigration can be mentioned.

Same goes for the Fatsa thing I guess. I was hesitant to add it for this reason Kerem Özcan 09:44, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article (which I have written) is based on the Tatar/Kazak ethnic Turks, who moved to Japan and later got Turkish citizenship too. They are Japanese/Turkish citizens of Turkish descent. I also watched a documentary about Turks from Fatsa. You are right about mentioning Fatsa, but we should put in a section named "Illegal Immigrants from Turkey" and include a subsection on Fatsa there. I don't think only Fatsa people are going there illegally. In each case, we should mention the illegal side of the immigration, the movement of men only, marriage to Japanese, etc. I don't have time to write the section, but if you do have time and will to write it, I could review it some time. Good suggestion by the way. --Scientia Potentia 09:50, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

POV edit

Numbers shown in this article belong to the Turkish citizen not to ethnic Turkish. Takabeg (talk) 11:55, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

All of these "Fooians in Japan" articles are written on the basis of citizenship and not ethnicity, for the simple reason that Japan's Ministry of Justice does not collect statistics on the ethnicity of immigrants. The Burmese people in Japan article covers Karens and Bama, the Brazilians in Japan article covers Japanese Brazilians and Brazilians of other ethnicities, etc. cab (call) 08:29, 7 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Falsified details edit

This article contains a lot of information which is falsified. Kurds in Japan are not as much as this article mentions. Numbers are falsified, no source confirm it. Embassy fight was also falsified.

Deleting Kurds sections, too much falsified information and not even related to the article since Kurds could be from many countries.Ferakp (talk) 07:49, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
