What Fatih Terim says is: "tabela" which means scoreboard in Turkish. And "tabla" doesn't mean backgammon in Turkish, the name of the Turkish Backgammon is "tavla".

editWhilst I do believe that this particular phenomenon exists (as a third-generation Turk living in London), is the name really "Turklish"?
