So if I electronically filed my taxes with TurboTax did my federal and state I’ll come in one or am I still waiting on my state if I’ve already gotten my federal or direct deposit
May somebody please edit the top of this article? I feel that it is inaccurate to have 2/3 of the top section relate to its controversy and poor deceptive business practice because it has likely caused more help than harm. Parsons Tax program edit
Kind of Bizarre that Turbo Tax does not Credit Bob Parsons and his Parsons Tax program that was founded in Iowa. It was a long successful tax program that Turbo Tax purchased at about the same time that it purchased the Chip Soft program. Turbo Tax is very similar to the Parsons Tax Program, but Intuit and Turbo Tax do not Give Bob Parsons or Parsons Software any credit for the Turbo Tax program?! - Yeah, I was wondering about that too. The Blocking search engines from indexing its "free file program" page subsection has a link to TurboTax's "free file program" page. However, the linked page states in its header:
- Intuit has elected not to renew its participation in the IRS Free File Program and will no longer be offering IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax.

Domestic version edit
Noticed 14 and 16 character license key is requirement for the 2019, 2020, 2021 versions. The software allows only 5 installs with each key on a computer system. In 2021, the software allows the end-user to active multiple purchased products through a feature. The Intuit Turbotax Business version is not allowed to be switched within these products and it does not have that feature.
