Main Image Change

I would like to ask if we could change the main image to this?

A Tu-204-100

It has a better angle and you can see the plane from a front-side view which is fantasitc, Ill be honest after seeing the image above, only now can I admire the aircraft. The current image isnt good as you cant see much of it. @MilborneOne:@Samf4u:@Andrewgprout:

@Samf4u: how is it better? I don’t understand, I mean the red wings airliner in a passenger aircraft and the angle is better in a sense that it is a front kinda side view? And there are more passenger variants according to what the aircraft is being most commonly used as? The other reason I’m requesting an image change is that there is only one Russian Federation 204 (one in title image) and there are 19 commercial jets the one in requesting to use is one of them. I’ll give you it yes the current one is nice but with it only being the only variant it doesn’t show the most common variant of you get me. Take the 757 and 767. My preference would be the Red Wings picture above; my personal preference is that style of shot rather than an almost "overhead" shot. Just my opinion though, I'm sure others will disagree. Garretka (talk) 19:02, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Sam did agree but he said if others disagree he’d choose the original. I choose the redwings so that’s 3:0 I’d say it’s eligible for change unless another 4 disagree which would be unlikely. I think the red wings image is the more natural pose for an airliner, the actual operator is not really relevant. MilborneOne (talk) 07:59, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

Thanks Milborne! So we have 4:0. I understand about the operator, I’m more about the variant such as the 757 image which has the most common variant, the -200 as it’s main image. For the red wings image, the -100 is the common variant in this case

Introduction of the Tu-204

@Samf4u:The launch operator according to two sources: https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/first-tu-204s-delivered-to-air-cairo-44861/ and https://www.airliners.net/aircraft-data/tupolev-tu-204-tu-214/377 both state A) it is the launch operator of the Tu-204 when they were bought by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cairo_Aviation in 2 November 1998. According to the references we know the first flight was 2 January 1989 and that Russian certification of the basic Tu-204 was awarded on 12 January 1995 and cargo flights began, with the first revenue-earning passenger flight on 23 February 1996, All in Russia. The leasing company Sirocco Aerospace bought then leased Tu-204's to Air Cairo of Egypt who became the launch operator 'Outside of Russia when it took delivery of a Tu-204-120 and -120C in November 1998.

I Would change the lead from "First introduced in 1989" to "First flew in 1989" because it contradicts the infobox and leave it as that.

A number of airlines operated the aircraft on a special permit as a freighter before official certification, which makes the first delivery not that easy to work out. Vnukovo for example flew five examples in 1994, Orel Avia had three. MilborneOne (talk) 15:55, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

The first link doesn't state it's the first (launch) customer. It states its the first operator with the Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 engines. First flight was in 1989, and the launch Customer (introduction) being Aeroflot on 23 February 1996, based on the current source on the introduction line. Garretka (talk) 16:20, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
