Sex crime

Moved the sex crime section to a "Trivia". I think this section is interesting, but not really important for the entry we are describing here. Well definitely shouldn't be in the "Public Affairs" heading to be sure --DryBitterMelon 07:52, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

I agree. I don't think it should be put in this article. This stuff is not very unimportant, but maybe we can put it in other articles, for example, Crimes in Hong Kong or sth like that. Wumanhoanson (talk) 12:42, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
If WP:RS said the district had a significant higher rape rate, then it is notable to state in the article. But yes, 屯門色魔 seem a urban legend level information. Matthew hk (talk) 18:37, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

(no title)

Just a note: The Description of Hong Kong Gold Coast is an advertisement and not a very accurate one at that. [signed, a common Wikipedia user] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.0.205.213 (talk) 2010-08-13T05:57:26 (UTC)

Tsuen Mum Station

Ha ha, I am a person living in Tuen Mun District and I've never heard about this Tsuen Mum Station. I think the editor means Tuen Mun Station? And Siu Hong Station is correct too. Maybe I can add more transport details in this section. Wumanhoanson (talk) 12:46, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I've made a mistake: we can't get to Tsing Chung Koon by a LRT single journey from Tuen Mun Station, so Siu Hong Station is the one which is suitable for putting in. Wumanhoanson (talk) 12:56, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Maybe content in 'history' is not suitable

I think the first paragraph in the section 'history' is not very suitable because it describes the history of the area in and near Tuen Mun District, so it should be put in the article of Tuen Mun. I think I will change the content now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wumanhoanson (talkcontribs) 14:06, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

According to some book. The district is formed in 1974 by the splitting of the Yuen Long District Office .[1]: 154  So the actual history of the district existed from 1974 and everything before should better in brief or entirely belongs to other related wiki articles. Note 2: 1982 is the foundation date of the council not the district (if you consider the government solely contain district office era, is the continuation). Matthew hk (talk) 01:16, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
Note 3: It seem the content was correct. The WP:Article title of this article was located at Tuen Mun until late 2005, which a bold move to Tuen Mun District was carried. A fork of content was carried in 2006 as the start of the new Tuen Mun article. Matthew hk (talk) 15:57, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
