Discussion of neutrality on this page

edit

Hey all - I am an employee of TubeMogul and have been updating this page for factual updates today. I am cognizant of the importance of providing truly objective information, and I have done my best thus far to refrain from using any bias, opinion, or other marketing jibberish on here. My updates today involved updating the company facts and history, and updating some of the descriptive text to more accurately describe the product our company produces, which has changed since the article was last updated.

Please let me know any concerns with neutrality and bias on this page, and I'll do everything I can to stay within the editing guidelines.

We have completed our updates for now. According to the rules specified here, since the tagging editor did not initiate a dialogue about their COI message, I am safe to remove the warning box:

"Some neutrality tags such as Conflict of Interest (COI) and Neutral point of view (POV) require that the tagging editor initiate a dialogue (generally on the article's talk page), to sustain their placement. If the tagging editor failed to do so, or the discussion is dormant, the template can be removed."

Therefore, I will be removing the box. Happy to discuss the neutrality of the page further if you all want to join the talk page.

I re-added tag. The article reads like an advertisement. The history section in particularly only lists awards, etc. Let's write the article in an informational, non-marketing-speak way. This might mean Ryan might have to take a break and let other people write things in here. --198.0.48.187 (talk) 00:07, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ryan it specifically says not to remove the tag if you have a COI which you do since you've said you work at TubeMongul. Please keep the tag until issues have been resolved. --198.0.48.187 (talk) 00:12, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
