I suggest renaming the page Tsinghua bamboo slips for three reasons: 1. The preliminary announcements about their content refer to 清华简 not 清华楚简 2. Although they are almost certainly from Chu, the possibility remains that they are from elsewhere. 3. "Bamboo slips" is more expressive of what they are than "slips", which will be entirely opaque to most readers.

- "Bamboo strips" would be the more common English usage, and occurs in the Tsinghua news stories[1][2] and a journal paper about them[3]. Kanguole 01:30, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Multiplication tables edit
A news report in Nature (http://www.nature.com/news/ancient-times-table-hidden-in-chinese-bamboo-strips-1.14482) presents a finding that 21 of the TBS form a base-ten multiplication table for values from 0.5 up to 99.5. Kelseymh (talk) 06:23, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
