- ... that when asked how many rooms his Trump Tower penthouse had, Donald Trump replied "However many they will print"? Source: ["A former Trump lawyer named Thomas Wells one noticed that every time a new story mentioned Trump's penthouse there seemed to be a new number of rooms. In one article it would have eight. In another 16. Then 20, even 30. Wells later recalled that he finally asked Trump directly: how many rooms did his apartment really have? His response: "However many they will print". https://www.google.co.uk/books/edition/White_House_Inc/5FS9DwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=However+many+they+will+print+inc+alexander&printsec=frontcover White House, Inc. Overall: Nice work on this article No Swan So Fine. Personally, I'd change "his penthouse" in the hook to "his Trump Tower penthouse", but the hook itself is good to go. The only potential concern was regarding copyright violations, but Earwig's tool only picks up quotes. (I should note that I nominated Trump Tower for DYK almost 7 years ago, but that does not affect my review of this nomination.) Epicgenius (talk) 14:27, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- I did initially consider that, but thought it an abundance of 'Trumps'. Great work on Trump Tower, what an operatic history!. No Swan So Fine (talk) 14:57, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
