To clarify the intention of the most recent edit: The previous version of this article was primarily focused on multiple GMs sharing a campaign world and also featured a significant discussion of hte so-called "Millington model". But, as far as I can tell, the only place that "Troupe System" or "Troupe-style play" is used to refer to multiple GMs sharing a campaign world was this Wikipedia article. There were no references supporting the "multiple GMs" meaning, and even the citation for the "Millington method" revealed that Millington never described his method as being troupe-style play. Furthermore, numerous online discussions can be found with people wondering why the Wikipedia article for troupe-style play was talking about something which was not actually troupe-style play. On 4 March 2020, the Troupe system page and its complete edit history has been exported from here and imported at RPG Museum, a growing wiki on Fandom that intends to be a resource for all tabletop RPGs.
