fukushima impact

We unfortunately do not have a good source of information. And also, the storm did not actually impact the region or threaten it in anyway since the storm made landfall far west of Fukushima and rapidly de-generated. Thank you.--Anirudh Emani (talk) 09:29, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

However, your edits were followed by a vandal who almost destroyed the article ( i have reverted those edits already). I see you are making a lot of helpful edits. Tokyo Roads Flooded

Removed an inaccurate 3rd-party report about Tokyo roads being flooded. The alleged reference was from the Emirates (Dubai) news, via Reuters, mentioning something "they" saw on an unnamed TV news program. Well, not much to tell. I live 12km west of central Tokyo and apart from the occasional 10-minute downpour the rain was almost non-existent. "Tokyo" officially also includes rather remote areas like some islands in the Pacific and it extends northwest well out of the city proper. Unofficially the news seems to say that anything reasonably close to central Japan is "Tokyo", so you can't take the news literally.116.80.220.204 (talk) 23:58, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Most damaging since?

This article quotes Talas as being the worst typhoon since: Tokage 2004, the Heisei period (aka Typhoon Mirelle 91), and Tip Which one is correct?.Jason Rees (talk) 12:57, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Most news articles say its Tokage. However, some sources also say tip/mirelle. I find it very confusing myself.--Anirudh Emani (talk) 09:10, 8 September 2011 (UTC)

Wrong Picture
