Agreed. I just reverted edits from user Avicii909 who joins the list of editors making the article look more like an advert. I think the page needs to be worked on to be improved but also protected to stop it getting any worse.Wikiditm (talk) 08:27, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I've added some details about the MLM side of the business however the very well detailed interview is from a blog. I believe it follows all the rules however. I haven't touched the rest of the article, which feels like a marketing story. daylon124 (talk) 00:01, 21 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

MLM status edit

It's very obvious from the structure of the business that it is an MLM, but an editor pointed out that we may wish to cite Tropic being described as an MLM. I can't find anywhere reliable that talks about Tropic, only this Daily Mail article. That should not mean we should remove the wording from the introduction to the article, in my opinion, for the same reason that one does not need to cite it as an online business. Inconsistency in history edit

The current article states that "Tropic was informally established in 2004, when founder Susan Ma aged 15, sold a single body care product in Greenwich market, inspired by her upbringing of Tropical North Queensland".

There's some inconsistency in the founding of the organisation. According to the Tropic website on the wayback machine:

"In 2005 I had a vision to create a 100% purely plant derived skin care range that is both effective and affordable which would fill a niche gap in the skin care industry. After collaborating with cosmetic chemists, traditional herbalists and microbiologists, my vision finally came to life in 2007 when I launched Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care."
