Copyedit edit

1. I have modified the photo caption, the original made this new vehicle sound like a museum exihibit.

2.I have replaced 'carry' with 'tow', this part (in the 'Functions' section), is about a trailer.

3. I have also replaced 'with' with 'after'; I may be a bit out of date, (as an ex-Royal Engineer), but the original wording gave the impression that the hose detonated on impact with the ground. This was not the case with Giant Viper and I'm pretty sure that it is also not the case with Python. If I'm wrong, anyone is welcome to change the word back, but source the claim.

Relationship between combat engineering vehicles edit

Currently the British Army has the Trojan and the FV180 and the Terrier is being developed to replace the FV180.

However none of these pages link to each other and there is no comment on the relative uses of these vehicles.

Would that be useful to have?

Name change edit

The British Army and the manufacturer both list the name as Trojan AEV for Armoured Engineer Vehicle. Calling this AVRE is incorrect, although it may have replaced them (and other vehicles besides).

I’ve updated the text, but can someone change the name of the article? 86.9.155.227 (talk) 15:30, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
