Picking up the torch in 2020
editHi there, I am a Plant Health Degree Horticulture student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and am planning on editing and adding to the this article. I have found new research and literature on the topic not yet included in this article which I plan to incorporate. I am curious to know if anyone has suggestions for sections they think I should add or revise. Or any links to new sources on the topic that you think would be helpful to include in this article. Thanks! --Liambuirs (talk) 18:19, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
More explanation of edits needed
editHi @Gould363: I'd like more explanation of these edits. There is insufficient explanation in the edit summaries. Thanks. Invasive Spices (talk) 18:57, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, @Invasive Spices: The page had been tagged with a Copyedit Needed template:
- This article may require copy editing for grammar, style, cohesion, tone, or spelling. (May 2021)
- I got here via https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?sort=relevance&search=articletopic%3Abiology+incategory%3A%22All+articles+needing+copy+edit%22&title=Special:Search&ns0=1 (I'm a biologist by training, copyeditor by trade). As per the template, the idea is to edit for grammar, style, flow, etc. I also deleted some material that was off-topic (plant–pathogen and plant–herbivore interactions involving only two levels), as noted separately in the edit summary. Since a copyedit is a top-to-bottom line edit of the entire article, it's obviously impractical to list changes one by one in the edit summary, but if you have specific issues concerning the merits of one set of wording versus another, I'm always happy to discuss.Gould363 (talk) 21:54, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
