Expansion from stub
editI did my best to expand this from stub to a decent length. Still a work in progress. I see the following issues:
- Both John R. Oishei and daylight factory could probably be expanded to their own articles.
- As of today, there are more current news articles regarding the demo controversy. I will work on adding a section on the controversy, but right now the treatment isn't adequate.
- Daylight factory seems to be a common term for these types of early 20th century concrete factory buildings, but I'm only finding a few references to this term. It may be that industrial architecture has received less attention, and doesn't strictly follow Architecture style. I'm trying to get in hand some of the off line materials related to industrial architecture and firm this all up, especially regarding reinforced concrete daylight factory. Definitely the daylight factory section could use more refs.
- Maybe the Banham quote is overheated? Seems pertinent and interesting to me, but I'm interested in others' thoughts.
