A quick question regarding its classification as a religion edit
Does this truly fit into religion? At most I thought this would go into folklore but it goes all the way to Jungian Psychology. What gives?
Sorting this page out edit
Let’s Discus Style Over Content Here: edit
It seems there is a lot of discussion here about content when large portions of the text are not attributed.
It seems fine to be if it’s a sortable table of Trickster characters that can be sorted by country, continent, media, era and so on: this would be functional and useful.
There are swathes of characters left out, maybe a sortable list will help future additions.
Hub edit
It seems to me it is an important hub but the main text is not helping as it’s rambling and not verified with citations.
Hands Up? edit
Is there the will & interest to create a team to tackle this as a project?

Trickster - Role in African American literature edit
This section in particular: [[1]] seems to be scholarly research and although references are made the main text seems to be based on the contributors opinion. As such it's not within wiki guidelines? Spinner (talk) 12:36, 2 August 2020 (UTC)

I did a few hours editing this for the sake of clarity. I hope it doesn't tread on anyone's toes.
With respect for the original contribution, which i find very interesting i think it deserves a page on it's own BUT: at present it is wide of the Wikipedia Guidelines.
I'm delving into setting up a Wikimedia 'project' on this Trickster topic as it seems a hub that covers a whole range of subjects from Clowns to Religion and is worthy of more effort. Wish me luck. I may be some time... :-)
Not an archetype! edit
I've removed the section claiming the trickster is an example of a Jungian archetype, as this is a false statement based on a common misunderstanding of the Jungian concept. This is discussed in more detail on the talk page for Jungian Archetypes. 90.196.143.240 (talk) 13:31, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
