Seahawks Starting QB

edit

Since Matt Hasslebeck started at QB before Trent Dilfer did, Matt isn't after Trent in the list of Seahawk starting QBs. Correct is either Hasslebeck-Dilfer-Hasslebeck or Kitna-Hasslbeck-Dilfer, depending on how it's counted. Kitna-Dilfer-Hasslebeck isn't correct in any assesment. Please see the article on Seahawk starting QB order in order to make disputes to this ordering system.

Please see Seattle Seahawks Starting Quarterbacks before making edits to the succession box. There is a place to talk about the ordering system we wish to use for Seahawk quarterbacks there. If we should use a different system than what is in place now, that would be the place to discuss it. To date, no one has made any argument against the current system on that discussion space. --Don Sowell 18:12, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is this a pro-Dilfer press release?

edit

The article is pretty slanted. He has always been an average at best qb, and this article makes it out like he's spectacular. Did he write it? You might want to add an update - he was a dismal failure this year with the 49ers, with 7 TDs, 12 INTs, and a 55.1 passer rating. They saw a big improvement putting in their 3rd string qb who hadn't even set foot on the field in 5 years.

I don't hate the guy, but his career avg rating is 70, and that's exactly as good as he is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.137.161.162 (talk) 01:27, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I DO agree that there needs to be more information, including a win-loss record (the TRUE statistic by which QBs are judged). The Seahawks section reads funny, and it should be clarified that Dilfer got the starting job due to Hasselbeck's poor play, and then vice-versa. Another interesting note was that during the Sharpie game, the Seahawks were within reach of the 49ers, and driving towards the endzone at the end of the game before Dilfer threw a critical interception. Also, who typed this article? The spelling, grammar, and punctuation need to be corrected. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.12.88.71 (talk) 05:29, 2 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Never mind the mention of his "coining" the "phrase" "[turning] a stinky sandwich into an ice cream cone." The source is an article that directly quotes Dilfer, and a simple Google search only brings up about 8 total results for the phrase. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.143.178.202 (talk) 01:33, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
