I'm missing an entry for video #14... was that "Free Your Mind", or was Free Your Mind one of the non-numbered ones? --Nichenbach 21:28, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I email TWS and #14 is Free Your Mind--KoRnholio8 19:32, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

suggestions edit

I think it would be worthwhile mentioning a bit more about TWS's history rather than focusing upon videos it has released. If no one else is willing - I'll do some research and write a bit about the philosophy behind the 1983 debut, the sale to AOL and the subsequent exodus of staff to the skateboard mag. I've added a lot of info here. I'm thinking about taking a picture of the 1st edition and uploading it (maybe also showing the poem on the back cover. Shall I bother? Steve-g 08:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Transworld Skateboarding Feb 2007.jpg edit

Image:Transworld Skateboarding Feb 2007.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Inline citations edit

This article is really in need of inline citations—I have used some of the References listed and have edited the article accordingly. If anyone has access to the non-web based references, it would be helpful to continue this process.--Soulparadox (talk) 22:46, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't really know how to add inline citations but I noticed that between citation 12 and 13 there is a "citation needed" reference. I'm not sure why the available uploaded online magazine pages are not referenced but I tracked down the image that was mentioned here: https://www.thrashermagazine.com/images/image/Features/2009/1983_mag/8302/8302 800t/8302p48-C3crop800.jpg and that is available on this page: https://www.thrashermagazine.com/articles/magazine/february-1983/
Maybe when I have more time I'll learn how to edit the page properly and insert the citation myself. xalaxie (talk) 21:25, 9 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Chris Joslin Wiki Hey guys, I am looking to make a page for the newest pro on plan b Chris Joslin. He has been putting in a lot of work recently and has had a lot of coverage in 2015. I was planning on getting my information through interviews in magazines as well as videos. I was also going to acquire information through his video parts as well as contests talking about him. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about this? Kat Noaga (talk) 01:47, 3 November 2015 (UTC) NoagaReply
