The border crossing isn't located at Neerpelt, but at Hamont (there's even one station in between Sint-Huibrechts-Lille) (actually there are two crossings: one at Hamont towards Weert, and one at Achel towards Eindhoven, which is closed at the moment, but should reopen between 2012 and 2017), there's also a freight crossing at Lanaken towards Maastricht in 2012 this track will open for passenger traffic. The crossing at Maasmechelen towards Sittard should also open between 2012 and 2017.
