Proposed deletion

I am the creator of this article and I now see that I was a bit too optimistic about its notability. This is a tiny field of Transpersonal Studies that has shown little or no development since its beginning. The field has produced a very small amount of literature, and there is hardly any new literature. The article is based mainly on primary references, only a few of the references are secondary. I did a thorough literature search and was not able to establish any more references for this article than the few references given. @Hawol: I deprodded the article as I think the topic is likely to be notable. WP:PROD is for uncontroversial deletions, so when someone removes the prod tag it can't be added again – instead, if someone still thinks the article should be deleted, it should go to Articles for deletion. I hadn't noticed that the prodder was in this case also the article creator, but strictly speaking it shouldn't make a difference. I haven't assessed the sources in any depth but I'd add that it's often difficult to meaningfully distinguish primary and secondary sources in cases like these. In other words, an article by a theorist who initiated a concept might be a primary source, but citing such an article is a very different situation from citing press releases in an article about a company (for example). It would be impossible to write a comprehensive article on a concept that appears in scholarly work (e.g., off the top of my head, governmentality) without drawing extensively on the theorist(s) who articulated the concept. If you choose to take it to AfD, which you're of course free to do, I'll try and take a proper look at the sources and think about possible options. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 18:44, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
