Hmm, I don't think so. ie if a variable a == b, that doesn't mean that the variables a and b are actually the same variable... Evercat 18:12 14 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Some Comments edit

The example in this article does not make sense - none of those are identity relations. Furthermore, in mathematics, identity is expressed as a triple equals sign, rendered as  . In fact, I'm not convinced this even warrants its own article, and am tagging it for deletion as such. --Haemo 10:27, 7 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
