Merge proposal edit

The TUPE page title is less informative than the title here Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE), though the TUPE page is a bit more wikified than this one. After the merger of contents has been agreed and done, it would be sensible to change TUPE to become a redirect. DFH 10:44, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

New regulations? edit

There's no indication at all in the lead that the regulations have changed since introduction in 1981, so the reader is suddenly confronted with this in the "Criticism" section. This needs fixing by someone who knows what they're doing (ie not me!). Loganberry (Talk) 01:31, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation edit

The article currently states that the "TUPE" acronym is pronounced "2p" /ˈtuː.pi/, whereas I've heard it (and spoke it) as rhyming with "dupe" /ˈtjuːp/ and never like the former. Is my pronunciation incorrect? uncommon? I've marked the "2p" pronunciation as requiring a citation. Thryduulf (talk) 01:19, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cross border transfers edit

If a company moves operations from one EU country to another one could employees use the directive to insist on a job (at the same wage level) in the new country ? 213.40.123.62 (talk) 22:01, 14 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Article Revision edit

This article needs to be completely revised to reflect changes brought about by 2014 Regulations. It is currently significantly inaccurate and out of date regarding the current law and judicial decisions. GD1 (talk) 17:07, 26 November 2017 (UTC)GD1GD1 (talk) 17:07, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
