Ckatz, I suppose I'm not understanding why you think systematically going through WP to link commentators with one of their venues necessarily constitutes self-promotion. Regardless of whether Dannymears has any connection to the website, mentioning that an artist such as Rick Baker has a new gig commenting on film somewhere is noteworthy. Certainly, were this Academy Award-winner doing it, say, on the Independent Film Channel or AMC we wouldn't quibble about someone systematically linking all of IFC's commentators to their WP page. Seconded - While the page does need fleshing out more, I don't believe it's advertising, and I don't see any problem with linking commentators pages back to the article. --Tonym001 (talk) 19:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Trailers From Hell has actually become a modern-day cult phenomenon. When someone hears of it or wants to read about it's creation etc., Wikipedia is as valid a source as any other web outlet if not the primary source.
