This page was created as part of ASBMB's Wiki Edit-a-thon on April 4th as part of an effort to improve the representation of science and scientists in Wikipedia. This is why there were a number of edits made to this page in a short amount of time. The author of this page determined that the subject of this article was notable by consulting with moderators from the Wiki Education Foundation and other experts present at the event. The author also consulted the Wikipedia:Notability (academics) page, the General Notability Guidelines page, as well as the pages for other biochemists on the Lists of Biochemists page in Wikipedia. The author intends to continue to improve this article by adding relevant content to support the notability of the subject.
