Winner's circle edit

Not sure where this goes, but 9 Mar 2008, Kyle Busch gave Toy their first NASCAR win. Trekphiler (talk) 15:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Honda In-House edit

I know this is a minor concern, but this page has been edited a few times to say that Mugen is Honda's in-house tuning shop. While there is a Civic Mugen Si, Mugen is not owned by Honda. Honda's in-house shop is Honda Factory Performance (HFP). The only reference to HFP I could find on Honda's site is here --Elovelan (talk) 03:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

" TRD is superior to other in-house tuning shops such as ..." doesn't sound neutral and impartial, maybe it should be "more extensive" or something like that Nm.ga.az (talk) 05:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

How many TRD's ? edit

The article states 'There are currently two official branches of TRD: TRD Japan (aka Toyota Technocraft) and TRD USA.' But at the bottom it has links to TRD Australia (although a better link would be [1]) and TRD Asia (which seems to be TRD Thailand acting on behalf of the rest of Asia).  Stepho  (talk) 22:23, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Let's split this page edit

As I understand there are really two TRD's, TRD USA and Toyota Technocraft. While TRD USA focusses on NASCAR, off-road racing with the Toyota Tundra and it supports the Lexus GT3 program. Toyota Technocraft is big in Japan building Toyota/Lexus racecars such as the Lexus GT3/GT300/GT500 and several Toyota cup cars. So, I believe it is best to separate both. As mentioned in the article and the topic above, there was also TRD Asia, TRD Thailand, TRD Australia, Toyota Motorsport GmbH and Toyota Team Europe. If we split them up then each article will be too small. If the article gets greatly expanded then we could look at splitting them up but not in its current state.  Stepho  talk  12:08, 15 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

History of TRD edit

The current article reads more like an advert, containing only the current stuff. We should add more about it's origins from Toyota Technocraft, Tosco (Toyota Sports Corner, Toyopet Seibi Co., Ltd.) and the various regional TRD's that have since shut down. Some good sources are:

I will probably make a start some time in the next week or so but please feel free to jump in before me.  Stepho  talk  01:24, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Time to write "was" instead of "is"? edit

Currently (end of 2021) the racing brand of Toyota seems Gazoo Racing, no more TRD. Therefore... time to edit the first rows?
