Sprinter (E40)
editIn this edit, why were the E40 models removed from this article? OSX (talk • contributions) 01:45, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- Since I made the change, I will explain it. In Japan the E30/50 models were only sold under the Corolla name (including Corolla Levin for twincam models) and the E40/60 models were only sold under the Sprinter name (including Sprinter Trueno for twincam models). Also, the Levin was a TE37 (notice the symmetry with TE47) but there were also other 2T engined TE37's without the 2T-G that were not Levins. For completeness, I added in the E30 and E50 that had the 3K and T engines. I have an extensive collection of Japanese brochures and factory manuals that can back this up. I've copied all these details on my website [1]. If need be, I can provide some scans from the factory manuals. My apologies if I didn't back this up with references but I made the changes late at night using my website (see link above) for data. Cheers. Stepho (talk) 02:26, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Daihatsu Charmant
First generation Charmant was launched almost at the same time as Corolla 30 series, BUT Charmant was actually based on Corolla 20 series, NOT 30 series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buhin (talk • contribs) 06:32, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
