Lead (and maybe title) of article should be more general

I agree with the redirects to this page, but it seems like this article should have a more general lead and possibly a more general title: a town square is typically the main square at the center of town, yes, but public squares, plazas, etc can be any kind of square that doesn't necessarily have a more specific purpose, and many cities have many squares of varying importance. The main body of the page does seem to reflect that, but the lead looks like maybe it's a leftover of a more specific definition. It should probably start instead with a more general definition (an open public urban space) and then proceed to highlighting the more specific "town square" variant. This makes it more appropriate and intuitive for readers if all the variants of this concept link here. If that's appropriate, then we should maybe also consider changing the name of the page to something more general like "public square" (or other suggestions welcome). Do other editors agree?
