editNo 3rd party sources, only enough info to "justify" an external link, qualifies as spam. If it isn't spam, please explain here in Talk. Pharmboy (talk) 22:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- since it asserts notability, it is not a speedy. He may of may not be notable. I see there was an Under construction tag, which should be respected for 7 days.
But see the notability criteria for artists--the exhibitions must be proven, and shown to be major. DGG (talk) 01:08, 14 December 2007 (UTC).
Wait and see
editAt this stage, it does appear to be spam but will wait a week to see what develops before going AFD. Until then, I would ask the original author try and find something where he is talked about in a known newspaper or something, to establish that he is noteworthy. I tried but Google shows only 6 hits and none that seem to meet wp:rs or give any details about him. Can't use his own website as a "reference", as this isn't an objective source. - I removed tags and such since there seems to now be enough to support the assertion of notability. Drastic improvement from when it first started. Not likely an AFD candidate now. Pharmboy (talk) 12:56, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
