Redirect
editOf course this was the predecessor of the Tour DuPont ([1], [2]), and of course this was held in 1989 and 1990, no matter what that article says, Johnjohnston (see [3], [4]). And even if this deserved its own article, the version hidden under the redirect is not it. Drmies (talk) 01:46, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Listen, I hate Trump as much as the next guy, but this provides more info than the other article does and is actually factual Johnjohnston (talk) 02:10, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- I don't care about how much you hate Trump. Your edit summary made no sense and the article is terrible. Drmies (talk) 02:26, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- This article is still more detailed than the Tour DuPont article. If anything that article should be merged with this one, or the info from this one added to the top of that article as the precursor. It shouldn't just be deleted with a redirect. Johnjohnston (talk) 03:24, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
I am now working on the Tour DuPont article, and plan to add material on the 1989 and 1990 Tours de Trump (is his ego that big that they could hold a stage race around it?!) there. I thought about creating a separate article before I saw that this redirect exists and had previously been an article, but I figure that they were the same race with different sponsors, so it makes more sense to have a single article. - The Tour DuPont article is now looking significantly better, I hope. Cordless Larry (talk) 19:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
