I won't undertake such, as I am wholly unqualified; however, it would be nice if somebody expanded this article to include a section on the treatment of tophi. I have seen contradictory medical opinion elsewhere as to whether surgery is ever warranted, and as far as I know there is no other method of removing tophi (excepting perhaps renal tophi which could be removed with laser lithotripsy [?]).
