Talk:Top Ground Gear Force

I'm sure this could be effectively integrated into the List of top gear episodes page - perhaps along with the other specials

I created this page because there were other pages with the details to other specials. Also, the Top Gear page is already crammed full - I don't think an extra three paragraphs will help the situation! LicenseFee (talk) 14:21, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

good choice. could do without the youtube links though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephentallett (talkcontribs) 23:09, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I took out the Youtube links, since it is unwise to cite Youtube and added a small amount of information on the end of the article to make it sound less like an advertisment and more like and encyclopedia article. Oh, in regards to the name, according to the Top Gear site (and, actually, the back of the team's jackets in the episode) it was Top Garden Ground Gear Force, but it must have been changed post production. No biggie. LicenseFee (talk) 23:25, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it only said TGGGF of the presenters outfits. Everywhere else, including the truck if I recall correctly had TGGF. Anark (talk) 20:46, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Keep This Entry

edit

Don't see why this entry should be up for deletion as there is already a precedent of the Top of The Pops Top Gear special having and entry of its own.

Suggest it stays up and is developed a bit more to make it more encyclopaedic in nature. The programme itself was absolutely hysterical and deserves an entry of its own purely for that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Phiandt (talkcontribs) 16:17, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes if Top Gear of the Pops has its own entry then so should this as it was hysterical. Also considering the only thing 'Top Gear' about it was the presenters it shouldn't be merged with Top Gear. Unisouth (talk) 15:46, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
Keep: other television shows have episode-specific pages (eg. House, The Simpsons. TGGF was a special, it's even more deserving of its own page than these. Demosthenes X (talk) 01:46, 21 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
