Is he really what we would call a "socialite?"

edit

I don't think of him as a socialite. He isn't someone of importance in high society, he doesn't go to any society parties, etc. His closest tie to "society" is that he had an affair with a posh girl or two. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.181.229.91 (talk) 04:00, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Fuck" or "have sex with"?

edit

This change is often made and then reverted on this page - which should it be? Let's decide here and then stick to one or the other! Tom H 22:21, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • "Fuck" In my opinion this is the best option, as it was the word used in the episode, and also Wikipedia is not censored. I think the word should be placed in quotation marks, however. Tom H 22:21, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Fuck is better. Have sex implies far too many things. Fuck is literal, infinitely more accurate and removes the connotations of "have sex with". As Margaret Atwood puts it, sex and fucking are too entirely different things. They want him to fuck his sister, not to have sex with her.~ZytheTalk to me! 22:11, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think, because it's ment to be more informed "to have sex with" is better, because fuck is to informal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.24.161.241 (talk) 16:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I hardly see it as informal. Maybe it depends on your perspective. Squeamish, but from an encyclopedic standpoint, it's entirely appropriate.~ZytheTalk to me! 22:11, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Tony bus splat.JPG

edit

Image:Tony bus splat.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Dead or alive?

edit

On the official Skins Myspace pages for Tony and Michelle, there are very strong hints that he is dead - Tony's includes a blog 'from his parents' that states they are grateful for cards and flowers received in this hard time, and Michelle's shows a video of her dressing into funeral clothes. I think it is therefore premature to suggest he is alive, even if he is cast for the series. 91.109.134.144 (talk) 20:34, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sex

edit

Is the sex on this show real? When he shagged that girl he met at university that looked real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Weatherbed (talkcontribs) 23:24, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bisexual?

edit

I really don't think that one offer of sex to his male friend as part of a power play makes Tony bisexual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.71.192.6 (talk) 05:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, it's still bisexual behavior, and it wasn't just an offer, he did give him head. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.15.113.99 (talk) 21:42, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
the college headmaster called him "bisexual" while he was telling him of in his offic in episode 6 series 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.61.116 (talk) 21:13, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Age?

edit

In his video diary (http://www.e4.com/video/bXT2CBcCg44u9DkGmknjF/play.e4), Tony states that he's 16. That doesn't make sense though, does it?

Wikifried (talk) 22:31, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why not? The first two series follow Tony from age 16 to 18. PretzelsTalk! 14:09, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

What source states he was born on October 17th? (My Birthday!?)

On his Myspace page it states he is a Gemini, which is end of May - end of June. If he was born on October he would be a Libra. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathsen (talkcontribs) 18:53, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Then again, MYspace states Effy's age is 19, which is clearly wrong. But where is the evidence Tony was born 17/10/89? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathsen (talkcontribs) 01:30, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
