Though not usable in Wikipedia, as it's original research WP:OR, according to FreeBMD, the birth of a Arthur Thomas Howell was registered during April→June 1871 (24→29 playing age) in Wakefield district, and the birth of a John Thomas Howell was registered during July→September 1877 (18→23 playing age) in Wakefield district, are either of these Tommy Howell?
