Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.

  • I have done my best. However, because hockey is more of a team sport than, say, baseball, an individual player winning the Cup is only really a big deal if the player contributed a clutch goal, or if they were a goaltender with a shutout performance. It's not the same as, say, someone's grand slam during the WS. Additionally, because the Cup win came during Wilson's "dirty year", most of the discourse around his championship had to do with some of that aforementioned headhunting, so it's difficult to find sources that talk about the win in a positive or even neutral fashion. — GhostRiver 16:22, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
    • Hmm, I think I disagree. If someone was in the FIFA World Cup winning squad, even if they didn't play, that would still be mentioned in the lede. If someone played five games during a UEFA Champions League season, but only played in the group stage, that would still be a big deal. This player would have a Stanley Cup medal of some description.
