Separate article for Weir's Way?

I didn't realise Weir's Way linked here until after I'd linked it. I think the show itself warrants an article, what with it having run for so long (and I don't think combining an article and a biog is a good idea). Chris Cunningham 14:02, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

The DVD's out now, so it should have a complete listing. I dare say there must be someone out there who has a lot of information on the show, it ran for the better part of forever and it's a national treasure. Chris Cunningham 12:49, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Sadly though, the DVD is not his complete series - it's just some select programmes. The series was running around midnight on STV last year, but I think they've stopped showing it again. I think Tom Weir is one of the unsung heroes of Scotland, and his work should be much more widely appreciated - both as a historical account, from people who have now passed away, showing the beginnings of what we would now call the 'heritgage' and 'environmental' movements, and also as a testament to the nature and geography of Scotland, which I (and Tom, I guess) truly believe is the most beautiful country in the world. It was so sad when Tom passed away earlier this year.

I have moved the DVD info into the main 'Media' section. In a para on its own it looked too much like advertising. Millichip 12:53, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Kilmaronock/Kilmarnock

There are parishes in Scotland by both names. All sources list Kilmaronock, not Kilmarnock, and this map shows Kilmaronock as near Drymen. So I believe we should list Kilmaronock until there is evidence (something more than a editor insisting) that it should change. --Siobhan Hansa 13:07, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Burial

This article states that "He was buried in the same plot as the ashes of his sister Molly", but the article on Molly Weir states that her asses were scattered at Loch Lomond, suggesting that they were not "buried in [a] plot".
