Tone of Article edit

Now that Read is running for Oregon's governor, editors should keep an eye on the tone of this article. Sections currently read like a promotion and are un-encyclopedic in tone. As an example, the entry currently includes the sentence: "Recognizing how important it is for families to have the ability to save for college, Read worked with the Oregon State Legislature to pass the Education Savings Credit which changes the tax advantage from a deduction to a refundable credit." The first clause of the sentence should be omitted as superfluous.
