Page created edit

I have created a page on each of the dvd sets. Please a note on my talk page if you have any problems!Limetolime 19:28, 29 July 2007 (UTC) User talk:LimetolimeReply

Merging edit

Since Titanic is already a very long page, adding this to it would practically double the size of it. I think all of the info on this page is necessary, and should be kept as it's own page. Besides, I took some of my own time to make this page, and It didn't take a second. I don't want to see it go to waste.Limetolime 19:28, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Infobox/Picture edit

Hi everybody. I have a few questions:

  • 1. The Infobox. Should I rewrite it so that that it talks more about the DVD set, instead of the film?
  • 2. Should I add a picture of the 2-Videocassette Collector's edition?

Limetolime 18:16, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd say the article has plenty of pictures as is. And if the VHS is based on the exact same artwork then its definitely not needed. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 20:58, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Renaming edit

After looking at all the messages to oppose this article from being a featured article, I want to move this page to: Titanic DVD releases, as other users stated. Please leave a comment to oppose or support. Which ever side receives the most opposes/supports in one day will have their way. I will move/keep the page title on August 12, 2007. Limetolime 20:17, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Support

I believe that this is the proper page for the Article, and should be moved. Spellingforever 20:43, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This page has been renamed edit

If anyone has trouble with this, please contact me on my talk page. Limetolime 14:18, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image rationale edit

I have given as much rationale as I can to each of the DVD covers. I hope this helps make the page better in quality. Limetolime 20:35, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

May I suggest removing several of the images? Image:Titanicse.jpg, Image:TitanicDVD.jpg and Image:Titanicde.jpg are all based on the same cover image, making two of them obsolete. Furthermore, the one I removed earlier is also obsolete alongside the image of the boxset's entire contents. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 17:09, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Should this page be moved to Titanic (1997 film) DVD releases? edit

I think it should, is it okay the way it is? Limetolime 21:40, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Tit10ann.jpg edit

Image:Tit10ann.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
