Tiruvalaputhur Manickavannar Temple is one of the shrines of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams - Shiva Sthalams glorified in the early medieval Tevaram poems. As some of the Paadal Petra Sthalams in this series have been left out, this article is written. I will try to improve the article whenever I get additional sources.
