  • ... that ballerina Tina LeBlanc received critical acclaim soon after she joined the Joffrey Ballet, and later performed with San Francisco Ballet as principal dancer for 17 years? Source: "It is hard to imagine what in LeBlanc's 27 years of professional dancing - 17 with San Francisco Ballet - she could have to regret... Soon a rising star in the main Joffrey company, LeBlanc became a darling of New York critics in ballets that showed her lightness and attack." ([1])

  •   Article has been nominated within 7 days of when the expansion first happened. Article has over 1500 characters in prose. The tone of the article is neutral and sources look reliable. I would recommend revising the hook though. "Critical acclaim" is very subjective and vague so you may need to be more specific about this or remove it altogether. A list of works she's notable for might also be nice. Other than that it looks good to go. lullabying (talk) 04:03, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • @Lullabying: I used to add a list of works to articles, but I rarely add that now since it’s either completely based on the company website or a very short and incomplete one based on reviews. Not all ballet performances and casts get reviewed. Corachow (talk) 16:09, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • I see. While it would be nice to see a list of selected notable works, it is not a requirement for DYK at this time. For the hook, I'd prefer it if the part about the rejection was removed as it doesn't seem to be related to the subject being a principal dancer in the San Francisco Ballet. lullabying (talk) 08:51, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • @Lullabying: I think the rejection part is a big deal. The point of the hook is to state she was rejected by a big company, then was recruited by a smaller one, then was one of the stars at another large company. Being recruited at 15 is actually not that rare. Most ballet dancers with a Wikipedia article had been a principal dancer. Corachow (talk) 09:14, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
