Though I can't check this without the source, I think the claim that Tin Hinan was a Muslim might be explained by the following reasoning:
Many Muslims consider certain famous people "Muslims," even though those people lived before the prophet Mohammed. Since "Muslim" just means "someone who submits his will to the one true god," the thinking goes that as long as a person was a strict monotheist (and preferably following purity rules and kosher/halal type food laws), that person qualifies as a "Muslim," even if they lived and died before Mohammed was even born. For example, all the standard Old Testament prophets, King David, and Jesus are commonly considered (by Muslims) to have practiced and preached "Islam" (only to have their scripture and/or scriptures accidentally corrupted by their followers). Similar claims have been made for a few secular figures (kings, mythological heroes) who lived before Mohammed, which is what made me think this might also be the case with Tin Hinan.

Where is the tomb, and where are the contents? edit
The article should be more clear about what happened in modern times. Were the entire contents of the tomb taken to that museum with the body, and are they on display? Is the site of the tomb marked, or "honored" in any way? This should not be "in other legends less corroborated". "Less corroborated" implies that these legends could be in some way backed up by something. This is not possible because there was no islam in the 4th century. Comiscuous (talk) 01:31, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
