This is a quickfail. My fundamental concern is that, as written now, the prose reads like a list of works, a step above a list like one might see at TVTropes and categorized by subtype.

I'd like to see the prose focus more on critical analysis and response to the trope more than on grouping works where it is used for similar purposes. The Themes section is particularly excessive in doing this.

You've done well in saving this page at AfD and proving the concept's notability in independent sources, but at GAN, I find myself wanting more critical sourcing and less "this is how it's used in novel X, short story Y, and film Z".
